Mystics
Magic comes in many forms and when it comes to the magic of the sea that form is ever-flowing. The sea cannot be tamed or controlled and neither can those that reside in her embrace.
Scion
Overseer of all things magical within the Melisano Sea, the Scion possesses great knowledge of magic and is able to pass down such knowledge to those that seek a magical path.
The Scion ensures that all magic within the shoal is not being misused or abused for the purpose of harming the sea or the Shoal itself.
As a powerful Mystic, the Scion is responsible for the magical power of the Shoal, their purpose is to bring those that chose the path of the Mystic together. As the Scion, they are connected to those that walk the path of the Mystic through a ritual of blood.
The Scion equally sits on the council of the Valithyian Titianica.

Dominarien
Those that guide and strengthen the path of the Mystic. The Dominariens are powerful magical users that have given their life to the embrace of magic, they are often Masters of their chosen craft(s).
These individuals are teachers and will often take on an apprentice to assist them in research and the pursuit of magical growth. To be a Dominarien one must travel the path of the Mystic within and outside the Shoal, the Dominariens are closely connected to all of those within the Mystics and thrive to extend the power of the Sea and Shoal.
Equally, the Dominarien are collectors of magical items for the Mystics, this includes but is not limited to Tomes, Magical Writings, and Magical Items.

Mystic
The chosen brothers and sisters of the Shoal that have earned their place among the Mystics through magical prowess and dedication.
They are magically inclined sea-folk that wish to take their magic to greater heights, be it through study and or experience.
They collect magical items and distribute the teachings of the Scion and Dominariens. They consider themselves true followers of the Mystic Path and seek to further their ascension through means of magical strength and knowledge.

Phage
Any and all magic users that have chosen to walk the path of the Mystic.
These individuals can come from any school of magic and go many different titles such as Sea-witch, Sorcerer, Wizard, Mage, Casters, Summoners, Warlocks, Sea-Druids, and so on—
The Phage is not necessarily a student just starting out in their craft, however, each Phage must prove themselves worthy of being a part of the Mystics. As a Phage the goal is to grow in power and knowledge and become an accepted member of the Mystics through magic and blood.
